Want to see your pet in a magazine?  Check out Skyy Blue’s Model Calls!

Here’s the deal…I’m proud to announce that I have been accepted as a contributing photographer to Bow Tie Inc, which publishes magazines such as Dog Fancy and Dog World. So with that, I’ll be in search of models every month or so for editorial shoots.  Each month is different, so be sure to check and see if your pet (and you) meets the requirements.  Depending on the magazine requests, the photo shoot will take place at your home or a nearby park, unless another location has been specified.  Cover shots are typically done on a white backdrop that I provide.  The magazine often likes to have people in the images as well, so those of you who have children or wouldn’t mind modeling yourself will have a better chance at being chosen.  For Breed specific shots, your dog must meet the AKC Breed standards.  If you’re interested, simply email me at ali@skyybluephoto.com with your pet’s name, age & breed, along with a picture and contact information.  Feel free to post on Skyy Blue’s Facebook page as well.  Other than making sure your dog looks their best, you will be required to sign a model release.  There is no charge for my services during these photo shoots, nor is there reimbursement for the “model,” but you will receive a complimentary 5″ x 7″ print.  Additional prints and products will NOT be available for purchase.  There is no guarantee that the images of your pet will be used in the publication, however, if it is, you will receive a copy of the magazine your pet was featured in!
